I created this guide because I was tired of learning about people who didn’t even try to negotiate their salaries, benefits, or work terms. I created it to put knowledge, skills, and confidence into the hands of every smart, capable, and ambitious person pursuing their goals.

These are skills and strategies I wish I had learned when I was starting my career. I wish I had them when my family circumstances needed me to ask for flexibility in my work schedule. I really wish I had them before I took a job making $15,000 less than my male colleagues. But I was glad to have them once I opened my own business and started negotiating with partners, vendors, and clients all the time.
